Rebadged Mazda 626 / Cronos. ɛ̃fini, a luxury vehicle division of Mazda, operated exclusively in Japan from 1991 to 1997. The brand was established in the late 1980s as part of Mazda's strategy to diversify its sales channels in the Japanese market. Alongside Autozam and Eunos, ɛ̃fini was one of the three new marques introduced by Mazda during this period. These brands were launched in addition to the existing Mazda and Ford labels in Japan. ɛ̃fini was positioned as a luxury brand and catered to a niche market segment.
