Rebadged Renault Sandero outside Europe. The Dacia Sandero, a subcompact car in the B-segment, has been produced collaboratively by Renault and its Romanian subsidiary, Dacia, since 2007. The car is currently in its third generation and has been sold under the Renault Sandero name in select markets like Russia, Latin America, Iran, Egypt, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Derived from a sedan with a slightly shorter wheelbase, the Sandero was developed at Renault's Technocentre in France, with input from engineering centers in Brazil and Romania.
