ReDriven on the VE as a used buy, ute version. Same 6 litre as my SS and the same list of things to check. Timing chains on the early 3.6s, the drive belt, and the rear end going through tyres. Mine has done 190,000 and needed all of that at some point. Still cheaper than anything else with a V8 and a full size boot.#holden#commodore
Nine years with the VE and the only thing that has ever actually stopped me was a window regulator. People love telling me Holdens are unreliable and I just do not recognise the car they are describing.
