The Crosstrek is essentially a lifted Impreza hatchback with minor differences, featuring a more substantial lift compared to the Outback Sport model. Initially, the vehicle was branded as the XV globally and the XV Crosstrek in the U.S. and Canada. However, in 2015, Subaru decided to streamline the name and began marketing it solely as the Crosstrek starting with the 2016 model year onwards in the U.S. and Canada. Key Points: 1.
