MG is a British automotive brand that traces its origins back to the 1920s when Cecil Kimber, the manager of Morris Garages in Oxford, began modifying standard production Morris Oxfords and adding the MG Super Sports badge to the cars. The success of this sales promotion led to the establishment of the M.G. Car Company Limited in 1930, solidifying MG as a standalone marque. From 1930 to 1972, the M.G. Car Company Limited produced British sports cars, gaining a reputation for quality and performance. In 2007, the MG brand came under the control of the Chinese state-owned automaker SAIC Motor. Despite this change in ownership, MG continues to uphold its heritage of producing stylish and dynamic vehicles
