The Jaguar XK is a luxury grand tourer that was produced by Jaguar Cars from 1996 to 2012 and later by Jaguar Land Rover from 2013 to 2014. Available in both hatchback coupé and convertible body styles, the XK spanned two generations during its production run. The car was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1996 and remained in production until July 2014.
The first generation of the XK, known as the XK8, succeeded the XJS in Jaguar's lineup. It marked the brand's return to using an 8-cylinder engine since the Daimler 250. The XK8 featured the all-new Jaguar AJ-V8 engine and shared its platform with the Aston Martin DB
