Originally introduced as the Heyue S30 in 2013 at the Shanghai Auto Show under the Heyue sub-brand, it was later rebranded as the Refine S3 in 2014 during the Beijing Auto Show. Pricing for the Refine S3 was disclosed at the 2014 Chengdu Auto Show, with costs ranging from 65,800 yuan to 84,800 yuan.
