The Haval Big Dog is a compact crossover SUV produced by Great Wall Motor under the Haval brand since 2020. The Chinese public selected its Chinese name, "大狗" (Big Dog), in a poll conducted by Haval in China. To add to the unique theme, body colors and trim levels of the Big Dog are named after different dog breeds, with options ranging from the 'Husky' entry level to the 'Belgian Shepherd' top trim. The first generation of the Haval Big Dog was introduced at the 2020 Chengdu Auto Show. This crossover SUV comes with both front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options. Unlike its predecessor, the Haval H5, which was a body-on-frame SUV, the Big Dog is built on the more modern unibody L.E.M.O.N. platform.
