The Trumpchi GS8 is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by the GAC Group under the Trumpchi brand in China and globally under the GAC Motor brand. The debut of the first generation model was in 2016, introducing a 7-seater design which later spawned the slightly smaller Trumpchi GS7 variant. In April 2020, the GS7 received a facelift and was rebranded as the Trumpchi GS8S. The second generation of the GS8 was unveiled in 2021 with improved dimensions, featuring a longer and wider body and an extended wheelbase compared to its predecessor.
