Rebadged Opel Kadett E. The Daewoo LeMans, originally manufactured in South Korea between 1986 and 1994, underwent a rebranding as the Daewoo Cielo from 1994 to 1997. Both versions were mechanically identical, with the Cielo featuring modified styling elements. The LeMans, like its predecessors from Daewoo, borrowed its foundation from a European Opel model, specifically the Opel Kadett E on the GM T platform. Through badge engineering, the Opel design was reimagined into the LeMans and later transformed into the Cielo following a comprehensive facelift.
