The Dacia Nova is a subcompact/supermini car produced by Romanian automaker Dacia between 1995 and 2000. As the first self-developed Dacia model, the Nova was designed to complement the existing Renault 12-based "Berlina" (Sedan) and "Break" (Estate) range by offering a small liftback/fastback variant. Development for the Nova began in the 1980s, resulting in a design that, upon release in 1995, already appeared somewhat outdated. However, a facelifted version with a more modern and appealing look was introduced the following year to address this issue and enhance the car's appeal. The Dacia Nova featured a liftback/fastback
