The Geo Metro was a compact car model introduced in North America in 1989 through a collaboration between General Motors and Suzuki. It was based on the Suzuki Cultus and underwent several iterations over its production lifespan of 13 years, lasting through three generations and featuring four body styles: three-door hatchback, four-door sedan, five-door hatchback, and two-door convertible. In the US, the car was initially sold under the Geo brand from 1989 to 1997 before being rebranded as a Chevrolet from 1998 to 2001.
