The ActiveHybrid 7L Steptronic applied the post-facelift hybrid system to the long-wheelbase F02 body, producing 354 hp and 450 Nm through an eight-speed Steptronic gearbox with rear-wheel drive. Compared to the pre-facelift 7L hybrid, power output was reduced in favour of improved fuel efficiency, with 0-100 km/h taking 5.7 seconds. It remained in production from 2012 through 2015 alongside the standard-wheelbase Steptronic variant.
